This is a beautiful Dendrite Quartz Sphere with finely detailed dendritic inclusions. Notice the rainbow in the first picture. Dendritic Quartz has the appearance of tree-like fern shapes and branches that appear to be fossilized plant, but are really inorganic manganese oxide. These inclusions form from traces of moisture and manganese that become trapped inside of the quartz forming fissures that cause them to branch out like tree limbs or fern-like inclusions. Dendritic Quartz can have inclusions of other minerals also, including Chlorite, Goethite, Chrysocolla, Azurite, or Malachite. These inclusions have the ability to tint their host red, orange, yellow, green, blue and black. The incredible energy released by Dendritic Quartz helps to bring us back into harmony with Mother Nature. This is a very soothing and comforting form of Quartz.
