This amazing and beautiful large polished Smoky Quartz Crystal has a long slender inner crystal that grows up from the crystal base and measures 6.75 inches (17.1 cm) long. This inner crystal terminates into a fine point, while at the base it measures approximately 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) thick. What a rare find! Besides encasing this long internal crystal, there are plenty of rainbows inside; the largest is an expanded fan-style rainbow located just below the main crystal face. This rainbow is massive and makes a striking display with bright color and shimmering silver flashes of light. This large AAA quality Smoky Quartz Crystal has excellent clarity. All internal planes, rainbows, and inner growth are clearly visible. I consider this a Dow crystal, even though the seventh facet of the main face transfers over to the triangle on its left hand side. All other faces match the Dow 7-3-7-3-7-3 configuration perfectly. The Dow energy is clearly present in this beautiful crystal.
