This is a very nice Pietersite Sphere. It is mainly Red Pietersite, but does have areas of both Blue and Gold Pietersite. Pietersite is a variety of Tiger’s Eye, which is itself a variety of Chalcedony. Pietersite forms in swirling, radial patterns instead of the layers and bands normally associated with Tiger‘s Eye. The mixture of cplors and patterns in this sphere is stunning. This sphere is also very chatoyant (especially the red sections), much more so than the images show. Metaphysically, Pietersite can provide assistance in meditation.
