This is a beautiful pink specimen of Cobalticalcite from the Kakanda Mine, Shaba Province, Zaire. Cobalticalcite (which is also known as Cobaltocalcite and Cobaltoan Calcite) is a variety of Calcite containing both Calcium and Cobalt. Metaphysically, Calcite has the inherent ability to help us initiate positive change in our lives, while the color pink is associated with the Heart Chakra.
