This is a nice specimen of Almandine Garnet from Brazil. There is one large Garnet crystal embedded in matrix. The Garnet crystal is a beautiful deep red color and is nicely terminated. The matrix is very shiny with what looks to be Mica crystals, especially on the underside. Many metaphysical healers turn to Garnet when something in the light system is preventing the circulation of energy through the physical body.
