This is a large and beautiful rough Ruby Specimen from India.  The color is much richer than the photos show, with some areas flashing the deepest Ruby color.  There are some Pyrite nuggets nestled throughout this specimen that look like bits of pure gold, adding a touch of richness to this piece.   Metaphysically, quoting from my favorite author JaneAnn Dow, "Ruby allows the heart to breathe through emotional pain."  Ruby asks us to, "Breathe through the blocked energy in the heart and allow healing to take place."  Ruby is such an amazing healing stone that is offering to help us heal our emotional wounds of the heart.  My hope is that more people begin to recognize and accept this offer.  The addition of Pyrite in this specimen will facilitate the experience by helping us to stay grounded during the healing process.
